The Athanion Sunset House is a luxurious and elegant property situated in a prime location within a village near the stunning town of Lefkada. With 3 bedrooms, a folding bed, and various amenities, this house can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. The interiors are stylishly designed and equipped with modern appliances to enhance your stay. Outside, there is a spacious outdoor area with a dining table for six, where guests can indulge in the breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea.

Interior

The house has an interior space of 78 sqm and is built on two levels. The first level of the building features a spacious area with expansive windows that let in ample sunlight and provide breathtaking vistas of the Ionian Sea. The living room has a fireplace, a corner comfortable sofa and a smart TV. Just next door is the dining room, a beautiful kitchen equipped with a range of modern appliances, where you can prepare breakfast or dinner for your loved ones. On this level there is also a bedroom with a bunk bed and the bathroom, equipped with a washing machine.
On the upper floor, connected by a few steps, two bedrooms exist. One bedroom contains a single bed and a wardrobe, while the other features a one-poster bed for two people, a wardrobe, and a desk. All rooms provide access to and surround the concrete terrace, offering spectacular sea views. All rooms have air conditioning.

Exterior

Outside the main living room there is a spacious terrace with a shaded dining area, an ideal place to meet with friends or family and enjoy a home-cooked dinner under the stars. The lovely terrace welcomes you to relax during a hot summer day, before retreating to the nearby beaches of Egremnoe and Porto Katsiki, which are just 2.5 and 4 km each from the traditional tourist resort.

Athanion Sunset is located on a hillside in the centre of Athani village and offers stunning views, as it is bathed by warm sunbeams and sunsets.

About Athani

Athani Village is located 34 km northeast of Lefkada Town. The lovely mountainous village has a population of 200 inhabitants most of whom are engaged in agriculture and tourism.

Athani lies near some of Greece’s most well-known beaches, including Porto Katsiki and Egremni. The Lefkada promontory is a short distance from the settlement and offers stunning views of the Ionian Sea and a stunning sunset. Menander, an ancient Greek poet, claims that Sappho, a famous poetess in her own right, plummeted into the sea from the rocks because Phaedon had no love for her.

Numerous contemporary amenities are available in Athani, including restaurants, cafes, local businesses, and mini-markets. Even so, with its historic homes, charming villages, and little churches, it remains one of the best specimens of traditional architecture.

Because it blends natural beauty with historical sites, Athani is one of the most fascinating places on Lefkada’s west coast.
